This policy applies to the website and service channels of Regicenter Marcas & Patentes Ltda (“Regicenter”), an industrial property agent accredited by INPI, Brazil’s patent and trademark office, CNPJ 00.000.000/0000-00.

Regicenter is the controller of the personal data collected through these channels, under Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018).

Identification and contact details entered in forms (name, e-mail, phone, city) when you run a trademark search, request a quote or contact a unit.

Data about the trademark or proceeding searched, such as the trademark name, class and line of business.

Browsing data, such as pages visited and traffic source, collected through cookies (see our Cookie preferences).

To answer your trademark availability search and present a quote.

To forward your inquiry to the Regicenter unit in your region.

To meet legal and regulatory obligations related to trademark and patent registration with INPI.

To send updates on the progress of your proceeding, when you are a client.

With the franchised unit responsible for service in your region.

With INPI and other public bodies, when needed to move your proceeding forward.

With OpenFreeMap, the service that provides the images of the interactive map of our units: when the map is shown, your browser sends it your IP address. The map only loads when you click “Load map” or turn on “Interactive map” in the Cookie preferences.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

We keep data for as long as needed to fulfil the purpose of collection and the legal obligations that apply to industrial property proceedings, which may extend for years after registration.

You may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymisation or deletion of your data, and portability to another provider, as provided by the LGPD.
